Minoru Sakuragawa

Hello! My name is Minoru Sakuragawa.
I’m originally from Sichuan, China, and I became a naturalized Japanese citizen several years ago. I speak Japanese, Chinese, and English. After coming to Japan for my studies, I graduated from the University of Tokyo and went on to work for Big 4 consulting firms and IT companies before starting my own business. I currently run my own company while also working as a freelancer.

I’m passionate about connecting with people from around the world and sharing the beauty and culture of Japan. Friends often describe me as friendly, flexible, and full of positive energy. I always do my best to create a comfortable and memorable experience for my guests.

Over the years, I’ve guided a wide range of tours — from cultural walks and historical site visits to luxury food tours and outdoor adventures. Whether it’s exploring hidden local gems or visiting famous landmarks, I love tailoring each experience to my guests’ interests. In addition, I have a good eye for photography. I'm not a professional photographer, but I know how to take great pictures with a cellphone.

I have been living in Asakusa, Tokyo for six years, and I’m very familiar with both the famous spots and the lesser-known local treasures in and around the city. Beyond Tokyo, I have also guided guests to many cities across Japan, supporting not only leisure travel but also investment trips, giving me deep knowledge and experience in various fields.
