Taishi Arai

Hi there,
My name is Taishi! I am Japanese Filipino living in Japan. I live around the Tokyo area, my favorite moments are when friends and family visit Japan and showing them little gems that they otherwise would not have found online.

I say Japan is cool but the amount of tourist is overwhelming specially cuz everyone is concentrated in specific areas forming clusters or large groups of people. I personally like more local places cuz it feels more like Japan.

Like shopping around places popular only to the local community, checking out the nightlife that are uniquely local, Getting coffee from freshly roasted coffee beans from a moms and pops shop, that way you feel more immersed into a culture making your trip something truly special.
