Burak Ersoy

Hi, I’m Burak — a journalist from Turkey who’s been calling Japan home since 2016. Over the years, my job has taken me to nearly every corner of this amazing city, Tokyo. From covering typhoons and big events like the Tokyo Olympics, to just wandering backstreets with a camera in hand, I’ve gotten to know Tokyo on a pretty personal level.

I absolutely love meeting new people and sharing the little stories and hidden spots that make this city so special. Whether you want to explore the famous sights or find those quiet local gems, I’d be happy to show you around — and I’ll make sure you leave with some great photos too!

Outside of work, I spend my time playing guitar with friends, reading, and going on long walks (Tokyo’s perfect for that). If you're looking for a friendly local guide with a journalist’s eye and a passion for Tokyo, I’d be glad to join your adventure.
