Hi! Nihon ni yokoso! ✨🇯🇵
Please call me Rose!🥰
I’ve been married to a Japanese National for 19 years, and we have four kids.
As the Mom of a Travel-lover family, I've gotten used to making an itinerary for our travel around Japan and overseas. Thus, it has made me well-accustomed to arranging trips that are engaging not only for Kids but also for Parents. 👩👩👦
I have been guiding tours around the Kanto area, especially Tokyo and Saitama. As a Shogunate lover, I could also take you to places very famous to locals, but not many foreign tourists know about those hidden gems.✨💎
I’d love to take photos to capture the warm smiles and captivating moments everyone wants to treasure in their travels.

Rose was fantastic! She was very very fun to be around and taught me so much about the city. She was also very personable and we made some new friends along the way. I would highly recommend her for anyone wanting to see the real side of Tokyo!

I had such a great time exploring Asakusa and Ryogoku with Rose. She also helped me with my first ever kimono rental experience, which was completely stress-free thanks to her. From the start, she felt less like a tour guide and more like a friend showing me around her favorite places! She was incredibly warm, easy to talk to, and made the whole experience very comfortable as a solo traveler. Touring with her was honestly one of the highlights of my solo trip.

Rose is hands down the best tour guide I have ever had. From the moment the tour started, it felt less like a guided experience and more like exploring the city with an old friend who knows everything. Her knowledge of the area, culture, and history is next level. Every question was answered with depth, clarity, and genuine passion. What really sets Rose apart is how personal the experience felt. The tour felt tailor made, not scripted or rushed. She reads the room, adapts to your interests, and brings the place to life in a way that is engaging, fun, and effortless. If you are considering this tour, stop thinking and book it. Rose is outstanding, unforgettable, and the gold standard of what a tour guide should be. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

REAL Tokyo 🇯🇵✨ TOMOGO took me to Kichijoji, one of Tokyo’s hidden gems that most visitors never experience. No crowds, no chaos—just authentic local vibes, charming cafes , and peaceful parks that feel worlds away from the hustle of central Tokyo. The best part? My guide wasn’t just knowledgeable—she was genuinely passionate about sharing her favorite spots and insider secrets. It’s like exploring with a local friend who knows all the best-kept secrets. If you want to see Tokyo beyond the guidebooks and experience neighborhoods where locals actually hang out, TOMOGO is the way to go. My Kichijoji tour was unforgettable—definitely recommended! 🌿☕

I had the pleasure of joining a guided tour with Tomogo Tours in Nakano, Tokyo, and the experience exceeded my expectations from start to finish. We met at Nakano around 4 p.m., and right from the beginning, the guides made us feel completely at ease — very friendly, professional, and fluent in both English and Japanese. They took us to a quiet and affordable local café where we enjoyed snacks and drinks before guiding us through Nakano’s hidden gems. The tour was informative, relaxed, and tailored to our interests. We explored multi-floor shops filled with rare anime collectibles, vintage posters, figurines, original artwork, kimonos, and even unique antiques — most of which were surprisingly affordable compared to Akihabara. The guides were attentive, patient, and always ready to help us find anything specific we were looking for. They walked with us at our pace, kindly answered every question, and made it feel like exploring the city with a knowledgeable local friend rather than a typical tour. I was able to discover items from my childhood, purchase thoughtful souvenirs, and genuinely enjoy every moment without stress or crowds. I highly recommend Tomogo Tours to anyone visiting Tokyo and looking for a personal, enjoyable, and authentic experience — especially beyond the usual tourist paths. It was a memorable and meaningful experience, and I would be very happy to join their tours again in the future.

We started our tour in Kagurazaka, a charming neighborhood known for its unique blend of French and Japanese culture. As we walked through the narrow streets, our tour leader pointed out several European-style restaurants that beautifully incorporated Japanese elements in their design and menus. We also visited the old geisha district, where we learned about the traditional ryotei (Japanese-style restaurants) that still preserve the refined atmosphere of the past. After that, we stopped by the Akagi Shrine, was especially associated with women, and many came to pray for things like love, beauty, marriage, and safe childbirth. Because of this, it was sometimes called a “women’s guardian shrine.” where we offered prayers and made wishes for good luck, followed by a visit to the , a peaceful Buddhist temple with a rich history. To end the tour, we went to cozy café, enjoying delicious French pastries while chatting about Japanese culture and the day’s experiences. Kagurazaka is a quiet corner of Tokyo, just minutes from Shinjuku, but it feels a world away. Walking through its narrow, cobblestone alleys, you can still sense its old geisha history and traditional restaurants tucked behind wooden gates. At the same time, small cafés, bakeries, and shops mix in, giving the area a cozy and nice vibe.

I joined the Tokyo Westside Hidden Gems Tour and explored Kichijoji and Gotokuji. Even though the Gotokuji cat temple and the Ghibli shop were close d, I still had a great time. The tour guide was very kind, fun, and easy to be with — they even treated us to coffee, and we had time to relax and rest. Strolling around the streets and Inokashira Park gave me a nice feel of local Tokyo life. Overall, it was such a light, memorable, and enjoyable experience. 🌿☕
