Mariana is extremely knowledgeable and friendly!! She has contacted me several days ago to go over plans and details of the tour. She also took me first to Tofukuji shrine and I was able to enjoy this treasure with almost no other tourists crowd around. Everything in this tour was well designed! I strongly recommend her to anyone who is considering visiting Kyoto.

This review is for the Kyoto walking tour. I strongly recommend Mariana to everyone. She contacted me several days ago to agree on a tour plan and she even did plan for a rainy day alternative, which we needed up not needing as the rain on the tour day ended a few minutes before our start time. She is extremely friendly and knowledgeable regarding at least the Kyoto area. She curated the local history as we passed through the Yasaka shrine and Gion district. As she asked my interests beforehand, she took me in to some local shops that were related to my interests, as well as the very famous shops in Gion.

My husband and I did two tours with Mariana while we were in Kyoto. She was so friendly and flexible with the tour activities while we were out and about. For example, we got a bit tired after walking - so we found a tea house to relax at for a bit before continuing our journey. Mariana also customized the tour to avoid the overly crowded areas, particularly near the bamboo forest and river. Spending time with her was one of our favorite parts of being in Kyoto!
