What Our Clients Say

Hear it from fellow travelers! Discover what our guests loved about their experience with us in Japan.

This was a very well organized tour. We started at a very uphill point at the wonderful Otagi Nenbutsuji temple and walked downhill stopping at many other beautiful places of interest including Adashino Nebutsuji temple. We ended our descend at the Tenryu-ji crossed a historical bridge and climbed up a very steep hill for a Monkey Park. I strongly recommend this tour for anyone visiting the Kyoto area.

We took this tour with Mariana, who customized it to avoid the overly crowded areas. We visited a temple with over 1,000 rock sculptures of Buddhists and explored one of the preserved Meiji period streets. We also went to a smaller temple with a bamboo forest area that barely had any tourists, which was perfect to experience and take pictures. When we were beginning to get a little tired, Mariana was very flexible and helped us order while we sat at a local teahouse for a quick drink and snack. Highly recommend exploring the river area and bamboo forest with Mariana!
