I joined a walking tour around Yanaka-Ginza and Nezu Shrine, and it was such an eye-opening experience . The guide didn’t just cover the famous spots—you also get to hear fascinating stories and details that even many Japanese people don’t know. Learning about the background of small shrines and long-standing shops really gave me a new perspective on the neighborhood. The tour felt very personal and interactive, more like exploring with a knowledgeable local friend rather than just following a guidebook route. If you want to discover a deeper side of Tokyo and understand the unique culture of the Yanesen area, I can definitely recommend this tour!

While reasonably experienced travelers we wanted to see a different part of Tokyo that travellers may not usually go to. Our tour leader Youssef delivered this as well as showing us many little bakery's and cafes. He explained things and areas along the way which we found interesting and had the opportunity to visit a local cafe with cats as my companion and I love them. After the tour had officially he finished he showed us to Ueno Park where we were able to look around and indulge in some street food. The tour itself is very laid back and welcomes exploration as you go. Thank you for your patience Youssef when we wanted to go look at other things. If your looking at booking a tour with a well spoken guide I would recommend Youssef.

To qualify for a full refund, cancellations must be made no later than 24 hours before the scheduled start time of the experience.

Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the start time are non-refundable.

Changes requested less than 24 hours before the scheduled start time will not be accepted.

All deadlines are based on the local time of the experience.
