Fireworks in October: Your Guide to the Best Hanabi Festivals in Tokyo

In Japan, fireworks are not only a summer highlight but also an autumn tradition.

The cooler weather and clear skies make the displays even more vivid, while seasonal foods like chestnuts and roasted sweet potatoes add to the festive charm. Autumn fireworks offer a calmer, nostalgic atmosphere that contrasts beautifully with summer’s lively celebrations.

Check out the fireworks with TOMOGO!’s top October picks in Tokyo!

In this blog, we not only feature October fireworks in central Tokyo, but also highlight events across the greater Tokyo Metropolitan area, including Kanagawa, Saitama, and Kawasaki from October.
